Our interests and projects



Friendships

Children have 2 primary goals in their lives.  One:  to learn.  Two:  to love.  At preschool, they get a lot of opportnities to do both, including learning to love each other.  We spend a lot of time learning to be good friends to each other, and the kids take to it like ducks to the nicest water.  Here's a few examples:



Ferry Trip
We took a field trip on the Bainbridge Island Ferry today.  It was fun, cold, and longer than we expected (hence the potato chips from Bartell's!).  We loved how fast the ferry went over the water, the drawbridge coming down on the Bainbridge side, and sitting on the long benchs in the sun.  Thanks to Marissa (I's mom) for coming along and taking all these pictures.



December 2009

Some of our activities from this month.  The theme, if I could find one, is that the kids are working together to create pretend activities, like getting in my bed together or pretending to dive.  It has been a pretending month!
